There is nothing like the holidays with a toddler, especially when it comes to the unexpected. With Anaka, both Aramenda and I thought that the hours spent gift wrapping would be well worth Anaka's excitement to tear through them. That wasn't exactly the case, but I think Anaka has had a tremendous Christmas. Even though she was daintily peeling back the paper and kept distracting to the previous gift, she loved the mess. Aramenda and I were both amazed at the things Anaka fell in love with, and last but not least of all was the training toilet. Anaka is happy as a clam, and Aramenda and I are exhausted.
